Join mosaic artist Sadie Rowlands for an enjoyable and relaxing day, learning the fascinating art of mosaic.

This will be a really creative class with lots of freedom to choose what you would like to make, and plenty of inspiration and help from your tutor. Whether its a unique coaster, trivet, house plaque or a simple shape of your own design you will learn how to select and cut and place tiles and recycled bone china to fit, plus there will be a fabulous selection of gems and glass tiles to incorporate into your piece if you fancy some added sparkle! You will be taught how to grout the finished mosaic and may complete several during the day. Hangers can be added to make the finished mosaics into decorative pieces for your home or gifts for friends or family.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and those wanting to expand their mosaic making skills. All materials are included in the cost. If you have broken china at home, feel free to bring it along to add to your piece. Please bring an old apron and wear covered shoes for the workshop.
