Bring some light into your life with these beautiful translucent lanterns. Using versatile porcelain Paperclay ceramicist Emily Joy will show you how to create a variety of lantern shapes using paper-thin sections, embossing and printing methods. Porcelain Paperclay is a truly exciting material which combines the qualities of porcelain but with added paper-fibre to allow increased malleability and to allow you to break the rules of working with normal clay. Once fired the porcelain lanterns will glow beautifully with a candle or electric lighting, creating wonderful three-dimensional effects where objects and patterns have been pressed into the clay. All the materials and tools are included.
